Hoi, ik ben Bolu! 👋

Hi, I'm Bolu, and I teach English for a living because I believe the right teacher can change how a person feels about a language.

My path here is a little different. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Economics, which taught me to break big problems into clear, manageable steps. I then trained as an English teacher and earned my B.Ed. in Teacher Education in English (tweedegraads). I'm now completing my Master's in Teacher Education in English (eerstegraads), the highest teaching qualification in the Netherlands for secondary education. So what you get in my lessons is built on a solid understanding of how people actually learn languages.

My lessons are structured, but never stiff. Every student gets a clear plan, practice that matches their level and goals, and honest, encouraging feedback after each lesson. Whether you're building confidence in speaking, preparing for school exams, or improving your English for work, we'll always know where you are and what comes next.

I work with children, teenagers and adults, and I love seeing the moment a student stops translating in their head and simply starts speaking. That's what I'm here for.
